The Task

Ganly’s is a hardware store with 3 locations in Ireland who provide building materials for both B2C and B2B clients. To successfully market to both audiences, they came to Ireland Website Design hoping to create one main website and two sub-websites to encourage more online and in-store purchases.

They previously promoted themselves solely via print and radio, but now, they wanted to focus on online marketing too. With our help, they looked forward to driving more customers to their website and store, increasing online sales, and creating a streamlined shopping experience for their busy customers.

Our Solution

The website building process for Ganly’s began with an intensive planning phase. With thousands of products on offer and multiple target audiences, getting the messaging, functionality, and design on-point was vital. With intricate wireframes, we demonstrated exactly how the websites would look.

For B2C shoppers, we went with an eCommerce website, and for B2B shoppers, we created a catalogue-style website, allowing them to easily click and collect or request a quote for bulk orders. To marry their in-store experience with their online presence, we integrated their rewards scheme into their site and installed a live chat feature.

Delivering orders on-time is crucial for getting repeat customers in their sector – so to help them fulfil orders faster, we synchronised their EPOS system with their website. We also added a function that pulled reviews automatically from several platforms, designed custom banners to increase the visual impact of their site, and improved their filtering functionality.

Once they were pleased with the website, we got to developing. Within a matter of months, we had their main website and two connected websites live and ready for sales. We then created strategic ad campaigns across Facebook, Instagram, and Google to help them achieve more conversions and increasing ROI.

What Ganly’s Had To Say

“Working with the Ireland Website Design team has been great. We have over 10,000 products live at any one time, so we were worried about switching from our old CMS to our new one – but the guys took care of everything for us. The website’s new look has been a real hit with customers, it’s modern, it’s fresh, and it’s super easy to use too.

Partnering up with Nick and his team for our online marketing has really taken the pressure off our in-house team. We know we’ll get a good return on our investment, and our account manager always has our back when we need help.”
